Hey! My name is Sarah Storm, and I am a cosplayer from Southern California. I began cosplaying back in 2011. My very first convention was Anime Expo, and I had no idea how to make my own costumes. I started out by buying costumes online. I went to a convention and watched a “Cosplay for Beginners” panel. After going to that panel, I decided to give it a try. The first costume that I made completely hand stitched was Princess Midna from Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess. Once I made one costume, I was hooked. I even gave armor making a try and made my Night Elf cosplay from World of Warcraft. I love everything about going to conventions and getting the chance to be myself, or sometimes someone else tongue emoticon Cosplaying has become part of my life. I don’t know what I would do without my creative outlet!
