ARROW Ep.5: Quick Review and Promo Trailer

OVERALL: It was a good episode.  We finally find out who the Demon is, and it’s Talia Al-Ghul.  Though Oliver, and everyone else who watches Arrow, thought she died on the Island, she didn’t.  And now she needs Oliver’s help to get out of Level 2.  And since the doctor down there is trying to wipe Oliver’s memories, which could possibly kill him, Oliver needs to get out too. Luckily for the two of them, Felicity, Laurel, and Dinah are trying to shut down the unauthorized level 2 facility as well, legally.  And just as Talia and Oliver fight their way out, the three ladies expose what’s going on and get level 2 shut down.

So by episode’s end:  Talia choses to escape, because she doesn’t care about being a fugitive and just wants to be free.  But Oliver wants to get out legit, so he stays in prison and is moved back up to a cell on Level 1, after a pretty brutal beat-down by the guards.  Oh, and Curtis and Diggle go on an ARGUS mission that I totally didn’t care about. And there was no Renee or Flash Forwards this episode. *And if you’re wondering how Talia got caught and sent to prison.  Talia mentions that she ran into an old foe in Gotham City. Could this be a BATWOMAN reference?  Because we know Batwoman shows up in this year’s crossover…

– But while it was cool seeing Felicity and the two Canaries working together.  It’s time to get Oliver out of Prison and back on Diaz duty, along with the other vigilantes. And next week that just might happen. …
