That’s right you ‘fargin bastages’, hours before Krypton Season 2 even airs, we get word of a possible new Lobo series, based on the character that’s yet to appear.  But while no one has seen Lobo on Krypton yet, the eclectic bounty hunter is a DC Comics fan-favorite.

The new show would follow Lobo; the foul-mouthed and dangerous, intergalactic bounty hunter. But no specific details have been released just yet. Krypton executive producer Cameron Welsh will serve as executive producer/writer. And Emmett J. Scanlan, who plays the character of Lobo on Krypton, will probably star in the project.

I guess the big-wigs at SyFy are impressed by what they’ve seen.  But isn’t making this call now, before Lobo’s actual debut,  kind of a whole horse-before-the-cart thing? I hope you know what you’re doing SyFy Channel.

There was also talk of a Lobo movie at one point a few years ago.  And I thought that Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson could have done him justice.  But that was not to be.  Lobo was created by artist Keith Giffen and writer Roger Slifer and  introduced in 1983 in the DC Comic; Omega Men.
