Yeah they’re all teens now, so get over it, if you can! I know they seem more like an age appropriate Teen Titans team. But this is the Justice Society, the next generation… Except for Luke Wilson, who is the guy controlling the giant robot, they are all high schoolers. It is the CW for Gosh sakes!
Actually, ‘STARGIRL’ is from the DC Universe people. And the show will air on the streaming service 1st, then the very next day it will also air on the CW. So if you are paying for DC Universe, the original content you are shelling out good money for, is being offered up for free the very next day. YIKES!
Note: STARGIRL isn’t on the same Earth as the CW Heroes, so she won’t run into them anytime soon. And yes, there is still a multi-verse, despite the ‘Crisis On Infinite Earths.’ The silly CW superheroes just don’t know about it yet. STARGIRL takes place on a world where the Justice Society of America has been obliterated. So the kids have to step up and take their place.
On the poster is: Pat Dugan (Luke Wilson) just below his S.T.R.I.P.E. armor. Courtney Whitmore/Stargirl (Brec Bassinger) takes the center spot. Then there’s Beth Chapel/Dr. Mid-Nite (Anjelika Washington) on her right, Yvette Monreal as Yolanda Montez/Wildcat directly below Wilson, and Cameron Gellman’s Rick Tyler/Hourman, below Dr. Mid-Nite.
-The future villains are at the bottom of the poster – Tigress, Brainwave, Icicle, and Sportsmaster.
So are you in? Or is this a wait-and-see proposition for you?
