Richard Donner passed away at the age of 91, but his film legacy will live on forever.  Donner directed iconic films like ‘Superman The Movie’, ‘Goonies’, and ‘Lethal Weapon,’  to name a few…

But take note, because Zach Snyder wasn’t the first directer done dirty by Warner Bros…  Superman II, though mostly completed by Donner, was given to another director to finish.  Sound familiar?  And before there was a ‘Snyder cut’, there came the “Superman II – Richard Donner Cut” in 2006. And that was almost thirty years after Donner was removed from that film.

(They also removed Marlon Brandon from the sequel. But thankfully, his scenes were were edited back into the Donner cut.)

Rest In Peace Richard Donner.  You did so much for the industry.  And I’m glad that you also got a chance to the show the world your vision…
