LA COMIC-CON: STAN LEE’S FAN CON COMES BACK BIG!
LA COMIC-CON is here and people are flooding through those doors. And I don’t blame them. I have not been to convention since Covid began, and it’s good to get my geek-on again. Was it the same as before Covid? Of course not, since we’re still knee-deep in it, thanks to the new Omicron variant. But it was good to walk among cosplayers again, even if they were wearing masks. And while there was a hefty crowd, we weren’t shoulder-to-shoulder, so that felt good. And there were free packs of disinfectant wipes available to those who wanted them. And you had to be vaccinated, or have a negative Covid test to get in. So safety protocols were in place. And I felt good about that too.
Stan Lee started the convention under the name “Comikaze”, and now it’s name is LA Comic-Con. But whatever you call it, the last day of the convention is Sunday/Tomorrow, so I’m rushing to get this out immediately. Check out the link below for ticket info.. And if you miss it this year, put it on your calendar for 2022. It’s fan-tastic! Also, below the link, I’ll post some of my LA Comic-Con memories…
