HBO MAX’s new “BATGIRL” movie is filming now, with Leslie Grace as Barbra Gordon/Batgirl, and J.K. Simmons as Barbara’s father, Commissioner James Gordon. Also in the mix are Michael Keaton’s Batman/Bruce Wayne, and Brendan Fraser as the villainous ‘Firefly’.
And as for the ‘Batgirl’ costume, color me unimpressed. I know it’s pretty comic book accurate. But I think a grittier look may have made me more interested in this live-action made-for-max movie. Though lets withhold judgement until we see the first trailer.
