WAS AMY ADAMS ASKED TO PLAY LOIS LANE IN ’MAN OF STEEL 2’?

DC STUDIOS: The short answer is ’NO’. But before everyone freaks out, starts online petitions, or nasty tweets, you have to realize that there is no Man Of Steel 2…yet. Henry Cavill isn’t even signed on to Man Of Steel 2, because it doesn’t exist …yet. DC Studios heads, James Gunn and Peter Safran, are still finalizing the company’s 10-year film slate. And though a Henry Cavill Superman is said to be a top priority, The search is still on for a writer, and Director, for the super project.

So until an official script and Director are confirmed, there is no film…yet. So patient is warranted, not panic. Amy Adams says that she’s interested in returning to the role, if asked. And in my opinion it would be crazy not to ask. So let’s all wait and see what happens, because that’s all we can do. The new Superman script will determine if Adams is right for the story they are telling.

And FYI, before a new Superman solo film takes shape, Cavill’s Superman will probably turn up in 2023 in The Flash film, and maybe even the Aquaman sequel.
