OSCAR ISAAC Talks STAR WARS Filming and Memories!
Actor Oscar Isaac, promoting his new move ‘A Most Violent Year’ along with wrapping up shooting last month from STAR WARS ‘The Force Awakens’, sat down recently with Shortlist Magazine, to reminisce about his favorite Star Wars moments.
The actor who’s character X-Wing pilot name is Poe Dameron,
was in the trailer released last November, and is one of the film’s focal points in the new STAR WARS ‘The Force Awakens, coming this December in 2015.
Oscar Isaac and his co-star actors are still under Disney’s secret, and strict, non-disclosure agreements preventing them any, or all information regarding the new films plot and story details. He did however give small details of the steps and conditions that were given each and all production Lucas film actors regarding the scrip for STAR WARS ‘The Force Awakens
When asked whether scripts were hand-delivered by security guards, Isaac replied laughing, “No, There was a special room with CCTV where you read the script. It’s a wild world out there, here the hunger for even little tidbits is ravenous. But as soon as you’re in, you’re part of the world”.
When asked about his experiences with the old films, regarding the original trilogy growing up, and who his favorite character was. Oscar had to say. “I don’t know if I had a favorite but I remember the scene where Darth Vader’s helmet comes off being really intense for me,” he said. “You don’t even realize, but you see Darth Vader as your father. Its about father figures being these impenetrable figures and realizing they’re just vulnerable, frail human beings.”
Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens will be released on December 18, 2015. J.J. Abrams directs from a script he collaborated on with Lawrence Kasdan.
