Cadence of Hyrule Brings Zelda into the Indie Game World

Nintendo held a Nindies Showcase last week to reveal a selection of indie titles coming to the Switch, including the surprise reveal of Cuphead. However, what came as even more of a shock was a new game from the developers of Crypt of the Necrodancer. Needless to say, it is not your ordinary sequel.

Cadance of Hyrule – Crypt of the Necrodancer ft. The Legend of Zelda is a continuation of the rhythm-based action game, but this time set in Hyrule in The Legend of Zelda universe with Link and Zelda as playable characters. Players will be traversing Hyrule, its dungeons, and battling enemies and bosses to the beat of remixed Zelda music. To see Nintendo lending one of their most valuable IPs to indie developer Brace Yourself Games is nothing short of unexpected.

We are excited to play Cadance of Hyrule – Crypt of the Necrodancer ft. The Legend of Zelda when it releases this Spring on the Nintendo Switch!
