My Thoughts

I give the US Blu-ray a B.

I liked the idea of Us.  Having a parallel universe to ours, with the twisted version of ourselves living in abandon underground tunnels throughout the US.   It’s creepy to think that there could be someone that looks exactly like us though they do say there is someone out there that may look similar.  It’s not a scary film filled with jump scares but I would say more of a thriller with a hint of horror.

My favorite part of this film is the young cast.  Evan Alex and Shahadi Wright Joseph did an amazing job.  I was in awe as they played both Jason Wilson and Zora Wilson as well as their twisted counterparts Pluto and Umbrae.  I hate to say it I really liked the twisted characters over the normal ones.  It is probably more fun to play them as well!

Catch US out on Blu-ray, DVD, & Digital June 18th!
