Like it or lump it, the Skywalker saga is over and done.  But not for eveybody.  Because John Boyega is speaking out about how his character was treated, and he’s definitely in the ‘lump it’ camp.

In an interview with the UK version of GQ, John Boyega had this to say about the character of Finn, a former stormtrooper who flees the First Order and joins the Resistance….

“Like, you guys knew what to do with Daisy Ridley, you knew what to do with Adam Driver,” he said. “You knew what to do with these other people, but when it came to Kelly Marie Tran, when it came to John Boyega, you know fuck all. So what do you want me to say? What they want you to say is, ‘I enjoyed being a part of it. It was a great experience…’ Nah, nah, nah. I’ll take that deal when it’s a great experience. They gave all the nuance to Adam Driver, all the nuance to Daisy Ridley. Let’s be honest. Daisy knows this. Adam knows this. Everybody knows. I’m not exposing anything.”

And while I do agree with him, what’s done is done, and complaining about it now seems pointless.  But I also agree that, when asked,  he shouldn’t have to lie about his true feelings. There’s too much of that in Hollywood already, ask Ray Fisher.
