Entertainment Weekly is reporting that actor John Wesley Shipp will return as Jay Garrick to the small-screen’s Stargirl. And this is a ‘big deal’ as it will be the first time that show has had a tangible connection to the Arrow-verse.

Garrick will play a pivotal role in a flashback episode that will see “the Golden Age Flash as a member of Earth-2’s Justice Society of America.”
