THE WB SHUFFLE: ‘SHAZAM 2’ MOVED TO MARCH 2023 / ‘AQUAMAN 2’ MOVES TO DECEMBER 2023
Warner Bros. Discovery: Remember when when CEO David Zaslav said, “We are going to focus on quality. We are not going to release any film before it’s ready. DC is something we can make better.” Well, I guess Shazam 2 and Aquaman 2 aren’t ready. Because the release dates for both films have be pushed back significantly… Hopefully, to make them better? Whatever that means. Both films wrapped principle photography a long while ago.
Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom is making the biggest move. It will move from March 2023 to December 2023, about a 9 month move for the King of Atlantis. Are there more re-shoots coming? And Shazam Fury Of The Gods is moving from December 2022 to March 2023, only a three month delay. But come on, those kids aren’t getting any younger. If they keep pushing this film, the kids in the movie will be old enough to play their adult counterparts.
Just how much more can DC fans endure!? How about some good news for a change. #HenryCavillSuperman
