WARNER BROS.DISCOVERY: Is Henry Cavill back as Superman? That’s what a lot of people are saying, Point of fact: The word on some major news sites is that Cavill will definitely be doing a fly-by in both Black Adam & The Flash film. But do I believe it? Not yet! I’ve had my hopes dashed too many times to go out on that limb again. So I’m taking a hard line ‘I-will-believe-it-when-I-see it” stance. But we won’t be waiting long for the truth to be known, since Black Adam drops in a few weeks. And either Henry Cavill will be in it as Superman/Clark Kent, or he won’t. BUT! If he does make cameo appearances in both DC films, does that mean that a Man Of Steel 2 film is back on the table? I wish! But again, Nothing official has happened just yet..
Something else to think about though: New York Comic-con is this weekend, October 6 – 9th, which is the perfect place for a super surprise announcement to be made. But will it be? Another point of fact is that it was highly anticipated that Cavill would show up at San Diego Comic-con to make the same announcement, that he’d be putting on the cape again. But that did not happen. I KNOW BECAUSE I WAS THERE, AND I WAS DISAPPOINTED! So color me skeptical. But again, if that news does drop this weekend at New York Comic-con, I will gladly pick it up and run with it… So for now, let’s just say that we are in wait-and-see mode, and leave it at that. (But my fingers are crossed…which makes typing this hard. But anything for Henry Cavill). #HENRYCAVILLSUPERMAN
