‘MY ADVENTURES WITH SUPERMAN’ MOVES FROM ‘HBO MAX’ TO ‘ADULT SWIM’
MY ADVENTURES WITH SUPERMAN doesn’t look to be the kind of Show that usually drops on Adult Swim: Think ‘Rick and Morty’. But everything involving DC is in such a tizzy, I guess we’re just lucky we’re still getting a new animated Superman series at all.
When the new Superman tale was initially announced, the plan was for it to run on both Cartoon Network and HBO Max. And Apparently it will still stream on HBO Max at some point. But first, it will join Adult Swim’s “late-night primetime hours,” with repeats airing during the Toonami block.
The show will feature Clark Kent, Lois Lane, and Jimmy Olsen in much younger incarnations than their comic book counterparts. Each episode follows these young adults as they try to make their name at The Daily Planet, while Clark saves the world on the side as Superman. – A premiere date has not been announced.
(And two seasons of the show were green-lit, but that was in the before-times, before James Gunn. So we’ll see if that happens.)
