HBO MAX: SEASON 2 OF ‘PEACEMAKER’ 2+ YEARS AWAY… YIKES!

HBO MAX: I loved PEACEMAKER, and so did a lot of other people, which is why HBO MAX Green-lit a second season. But according to James Gunn, the writer/producer of the series, season 2 won’t come out until after the new SUPERMAN: LEGACY film drops July 2025…

Gunn is writing/directing the new Superman movie, so PEACEMAKER 2 will return after that in late 2025, or early 2026. YABBA-DABBA-DO that’s a long time. That means there could be 3+ years between the end of season 1 and the beginning of season 2…

BUT THAT BEING SAID; some or all of the Peacemaker characters could appear in the upcoming new AMANDA WALLER series, which could air BEFORE the new Superman film flies into theaters.

So hold on John Cena, your time is coming! But it’s gonna be a while.
