This movie looks all pretty-in-pink, but the story is what will make or break this living Doll’s cinematic debut. And I don’t mind it having a socially relevant message. I think is should. As long as they don’t hit us over the head with it… with a sledgehammer. A Barbie movie needs to be clever, fun, and enjoyable. And fingers-crossed, it will be.
