Spoiler Alert: RWBY Volume 3 Episode 11

Spoiler Alert for RWBY is finally here.

We open up with Ruby on the airship the Roman ended up breaking out of thanks to some help from Neo. After killing a Grimm that tried to attack her, We see Neo take a picture and send it to Roman. He walks out to see what he can do about the problem.

While that is going on, Blake is now forced to confront someone from her past that I don’t think she is ready to face. Adam is running a muck in the cafeteria, he confronts her saying that they were supposed to spark a revolution within the world. Adam is about to kill an innocent person, but Blake steps in to stop him finally standing up to Adam. Will it be enough though?

With all the students deciding to stay and fight for their school, we see them all holding back the Grimm and the robots that have now been corrupted by Roman. It is amazing to see them fighting for their school, while some don’t even go to school there but also decided to stay and fight. At one point, Nora pushes Ren out of harms way and gets hit. Ren only gets distracted by the fact Nora was hurt, and ends up getting hurt the same way. Coco says that now is the time for Velvet to do her thing and we finally get to see what Velvets weapon is.

Well, it turns out that Velvets weapon has to do with all the pictures that she has been taking. She holds out her hand and Ruby’s scythe forms in her hand and she starts to use it. My jaw hit the ground when she forms Weiss’s weapon. Then Yangs. then Blakes. It keeps going and going from Coco’s to Sun’s to even Penny’s. It was amazing, but she is caught off guard and gets smacked by one of the robots. Everyone provides covering fire for her, but Weiss decides to actually protect her. She runs up in front of velvet and holds her rapier out to try and protect her but what happens? Weiss was finally able to summon, just like she was practicing earlier in the season with her sister. It may only be an arm of, what i suspect is the knight she fought in her trailer, but it is a start, and it was at the perfect time.

We cut back to Ruby on the airship. The fight with Roman and Neo commences and it looks like Ruby doesn’t stand a chance. Neo and Roman are just an amazing team giving Ruby no breathing room. At one point, Ruby is hanging on the side of the ship. She gets the chance to open up Neo’s umbrella and she gets marry poppins’ed and floats away on the wind. Ruby uses this chance to gain some ground on Roman, but it doesn’t really work. Ruby is beaten back and things are starting to look Grimm for her. See what I did there….ok. While Roman is in the middle of his speech about how he will always thrive in the world, he is eaten by a giant Grimm. And just like that, Ruby won the fight. She ends up taking the Grimm down into the airship and destroys it. As it falls out of the sky, all the controlled robots end up dying and making things a lot easier.

While Qrow and Glenda are protecting the city and killing the extra Grimm and robots that are still around, Ironwood shows up. He basically wipes the floor with everything in the area. After a small misunderstanding between him and Qrow, we learn what happened. Roman had token over all of ironwood’s machines with that black queen virus (what I am calling it). Ironwood says that he needs to get back to his ship for something and we then see his ship start falling out of the air.

While all this is happening, we see Juane and Pyrrha underground with Ozpin running to the fall maiden. With Juane asking all these questions about why this place is under the school, they finally make it to the chamber. Pyrrha jumps into the chamber while Juane stands watch. Ozpin starts the process and you see what we assume is Amber’s aura being taken out of her and put into Pyrrha. Once she starts yelling, Juane comes to check up on her. As soon as Juane moves, that is when Cinder comes and shoots Amber right in the chest. that is when everything goes to heck in a hand basket. Cinder absorbs Amber’s powers. Juane, probably knowing there isn’t anything he can do, attacks Cinder and is pushed back. Pyrrha forces the door off its hinges and tries to attack as well, but Ozpin stops her and tell her to bring Ironwood, Glenda and Qrow and that she would only get in the way. With that, Pyrrha and Juane leave to go get help.

With the robots defeated, Yang finds Weiss and asks if she has seen Ruby or Blake. She says she hasn’t seen Ruby but Blake went off in a different direction. Yang takes off to find Blake. Meanwhile, Adam is telling Blake that he is making it his life’s mission to kill everything Blake cares about. that is when Yang walks up outside the cafeteria yelling for Blake. Adam says he is going to start with her, and stabs Blake in the stomach. Yang hears he screams and goes super sayin. She jumps towards Adam without giving it a second thought. That is when Adam pulls out his sword and slices Yangs right arm off. A moment of silence for good ol’ righty. Blake jumps in from of her before Adam can do anymore damage and manages to escape with Yang…so yeah. that is episode 11. I know I am totally late on this, but thank you for being patient. These episodes have just been super crazy and I can not wait to finish up the series. Be ready because it is coming soon.

Footage From Cancelled ‘The Dark Knight’ Game Released

With the release of a video game based on Christopher Nolan‘s Batman Begins, game studios like Pandemic, EA and Bioware were creating a follow up game for The Dark Knight, but it never happened

The game fell apart due to the game’s engine and the idea of having an open world game which ironically came to life in the hit Arkham games. Check out the video below that shows what happened that made the game fall apart.

Prince of Stride: Episode Two Review and Impressions.

Prince of Stride, Episode two. You know the deal. Spoiler warning.

Episode two opens up on Riku running, which we can only assume is the first Stride meet, or practice. We learn it is practice as we see Takeru rocket past him like a bat outta you know what. we would assume that we would get to see the magical tag out like we did at the end of the first episode, But no. From what Takeru is saying, Riku is holding back and not running at full speed, which is why Takeru is running so fast. The whole episode, Riku and Takeru stop practicing together because the coach of stride club thinks it would be beneficial to both of them if they just watch each other run. While watching the others, former member of the stride club, and all around loner Kyosuke (Key-Yo-Scay) comes up to Riku and asks why he isn’t running? After telling Kyosuke that it is part of his training, Kyosuke tells Riku something that sounds like something you would find on a fortune cookie.

After we train some more, we realize that we need a sponsor for the team before they can actually participate in the Stride festival at the end of the month. Luckily, Hozumi’s older sister is the president of a pretty major fashion company. Much to Heath’s dismay, this may be their only option. Fortunate for them, Hozumi’s sister already had a signed contract to be their sponsor, but not without its stipulations. First, they would only sponsor the team if they won the festival. Second, something not important and third, they had to be models for the new line of clothes that were coming out that year. During the photo shoot, we learn that Riku’s older brother was a pretty prevalent stride club member when he was in high school and unfortunately was studying in America. Case of episode one locker solved.  During this, Takeru decided to run off for some reason I didn’t catch. Being fed up with the way Takeru is treating him, Riku goes and chases after him. After running down stairs and almost running into these three “Famous”, and I do use that term loosely, students Riku and Takeru apologize to these three young men. Turns out, those three are part of a Stride team called Galaxy Standard, which is also an Idol band. Go figure. After some short bonding and Nana telling Riku that she is going to trust the runners from now on, Riku wants another shot at running with Takeru. Boom. Riku takes off faster than we have seen him run before. Coming down to the wire and delaying him as much as she can, she gives Takeru the ok to start running. Hoping that she did good at the timing this time round, we hear the SMACK we have been waiting for all episode. Their hands slap together at a perfect time. They have finally got the timing down perfect. With the other teammates standing in awe, they all realize they all have some major work to do if they want to be on Riku and Takeru’s level.

After celebrating in the club room, they have a short noticed opponent change. Turns out they will be facing off with Galaxy Standard for the first match. No matter. Everyone is pumped and believe that they can win. Will they? Who knows. Guess we will have to wait and see.

Personally, there isn’t much else I can say about this show That I haven’t already. This episode? 8/10 I strongly recommend you watch this.

Markiplier, Famous Youtuber hacked.

So there I was scrolling through my YouTube Subscription box when I see a new video by Markiplier which struck me quite odd since the title was Hacked by Ourmine Team. After jumping to the video and, enjoying the song a little, all the description had was a link to the OurMine twitter account. From what I can tell, this group has been going around and hacking YouTube accounts, Skype accounts, Minecraft accounts and have attacked PSN and twitter. As far as their goal, I’m not too sure. They have said multiple times that if they owners of the accounts want them back, they should follow them on twitter and DM them. With 98k followers, I’m not to sure what to expect from them. Just another reminder to always have multiple passwords.

Edit: The video was shortly deleted last night, but it seems these people are not giving up as they have posted another video from Markipliers Youtube again.

“Gate” season 2 premiering on CrunchyRoll.

A couple days ago, I wrote about the second season of Gate that would be premiering on the 8th this month. Earlier today, It was confirmed by Crunchyroll that the series would be simulcasting, meaning it will air on Crunshyroll an hour after it premieres in Japan. I gave a small overview of what season two has in store in a previous article, but in case you missed it here you go.

“Season two of GATE picks up where the last season left off; On August 20XX, a gate suddenly appears in Tokyo’s Ginza district, unleashing a portal where monsters, medieval knights and other fantasy beings come from another world and wreak havoc on Tokyo. The Japanese Defense Force take action against these monsters and push them back into the “Gate”. Third Reconnaissance Team is dispatched to the “Special Region” lead by officer (and otaku) Yoji Itami. On their travels, they are joined by a beautiful elf girl who is a survivor from the dragon’s rampage and guide the group across the dangerous new world. This second season covers the “Flame Dragon Arc.” “

Catch up on season one of Gate on Crunchy roll before you start season two. I strongly recommend it.
