I knew the latest release of the Die Hard series was mainly new packaging, but I committed to reviewing it so it’s on me to find something to write about. There is something special about having a scale Nakatomi on my shelf. I mean, I look at the real thing many days on my way to or from the Fox studio lot, so it’s not just a piece of memorabilia, it’s a piece of my city. My cat Tippi liked it too.
With the news of a Die Hard 6 as a prequel film, this may actually be our complete collection of Bruce Willis Die Hards. I know Willis is supposed to appear in book ending scenes, and if it turns out well we’ll add to our collection. They didn’t have the foresight of the James Bond sets to leave a space for the next film, but the slot for the dvd package has pretty universal measurements. They could come out with a replacement set that slips right in so the Nakatomi Plaza container remains eternal!
