This one’s for the ladies!

The newest Ghostbusters will be a reboot using female characters. There has been a lot of speculation on who was going to play the female versions of Peter Venkman, Raymond Stantz, Egon Spengler, and Winston Zeddmore and we’ve got the names right here!

While we aren’t sure of whether or not these women will be female versions of our favorite heroes or if there will be a completely new story, these women definitely have the chops to deliver! They are:

Kristen Wiig:

A veteran of SNL, this comedic beauty has appeared in many films including Bridesmaids, Paul, Knocked Up, and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, among others.

Kate McKinnon:

Probably the least known of the four, this SNL current player is not one to be underestimated. Also known for The Big Gay Sketch Show, I don’t think she’ll disappoint.

Leslie Jones:

No doubt this comedienne will play the “Winston” character, but don’t let that assume you’ll know how she’ll turn out. Her brash stand up will definitely bring an X factor in the movie.

Melissa McCarthy: 

From stealing the show on Bridesmaids to The Heat, Melissa McCarthy has proven that she could deliver brash characters with the heart of gold. She definitely fire the mold of a Ghostbuster.
